2010 Women’s Indoor Winter Golf League

Women's Winter League Outline and Registration Form

 The League will be played on Wednesday and Thursday Mornings starting Wednesday January 20^th and will run for eight (8) weeks through Thursday March 11th.

The league will be made up of 8 two woman teams. 

The format will be a Four-ball Stroke Play (two ball best ball) Gross and Net accumulative totals. The winning team(s) will be determined by the team with the lowest 8 week total.

• Each week each team will play nine holes during the same time slot with one other team. Time frames will be from 9:00am to 11:00am and 11:15am to 1:15pm. You will be required to pick your time for the eight week period and play at that time each week. You may pick the team with which you would like to play with each week or one will be assigned to your time slot with you.
• The cost is $20.00 per person per week which includes all fees and prize money. Prize money will be awarded as golf shop credit.
• A deposit of $80.00 per team will be required when registering your team. The fee of $40.00 per team will then be collected each week for the next six weeks.
• Handicaps will be determined by using your year end GHIN Index. Every two weeks your index will be adjusted by using the most recent scores posted during league play.
• Weekly results and standings will be posted on the web site each week.
• Substitutes will be allowed but must hold a GHIN Card from 2009 or play at scratch.
• An optional skin pool and nearest to pin contest each week.

An official rule sheet explaining the exact format will be provided to each team on or before the first day of play. An open house will be held on Thursday January 14^th so the players and teams can meet each other and play a little golf.
