The  DCC  Men's  League 

The League Is Open To All Adult And Senior Members Of Derryfield Country Club Who Are Also Members                         Of The Men's Association (Back Room).

·              All Play Must Be Conducted *Anytime on Friday.

*If An Outing Is Scheduled For A Friday You May Play Your Round Anytime Thursday Or Friday.

·         You Must Play With Your Partner And Should Play With Other Members Of The League But In The Event You Cannot Play With Members Of The League Your Scores Must Be Attested By A Third Party

Tee Times Will Be On A First Come First Serve Basis, Preference Will Be Given To Teams On Friday’s On The First Tee Between 4:00 and 6:00 PM

Entry Fee $25.00 Per Man / $50 Per Team

You May Sign Up As A Single And We Will Try To Find You A Partner

FORMAT

                                                                         Two Man Quota

·            Start Date:  May 2nd  to  Friday June 27^th   (9 Weeks)

• No League The Week of May 9^th (Spring Member-Member) 
• Play Will Be Conducted From The White Tees On The Front Nine (Or Alternate Nine If Necessary).

·         No Change In Standings If Rained Out (All Teams Must Be Able To Complete The Round)

•  No Limit To The Number Of Teams In The League

• No Handicap Restrictions On Teams

• Substitutes Are Allowed But One Member Of  The Team Must Be Present

·         Skins Pool and Nearest To Pin Contest Every Week

Pay Out: One Third (1/3) Of The Field Will Be Awarded Prize Money Based On The Teams Accumulated 8 Week Total.

The Team With The Highest Total Will Be The Winners. In The Event Of A  Tie For 1st The Team With The Best Total On The Last Week Completed Will Be The Winners, If A Tie Still Exist It Will Revert To The Previous Week And So On Until The Tie Is Broken. All Other Ties Will Split The Prize Money

Scoring: You and Your Partners Quota Will Be Added Together Each Week To Determine The Team Total

Your Individual Quota Is Determined By Deducting Your Handicap From 36 Then Dividing By 2

Example: Your Handicap Is 20. 36-20 = 16 ÷ 2 = 8. You Will Need  8 Points To Get Back To Even.

Or: Your Handicap is 19. 36-19 = 17 ÷ 2 = 8.5. You Will Need 8.5 Points To Get Back To Even

Points Are Awarded Based On Your Score On Each Hole.

Points: Double Bogey or Higher = 0, Bogey = 1, Par = 2, Birdie = 4, Eagle = 8, Double Eagle = 16.
